Tiger Bus Routes Serving Cambridge Biomedical Campus
The new Tiger routes launched in May 2025 provide better connections to education, employment, and health sites:
- Tiger 2 & 3 (Cambridge Orbital Services): Connect north and south Cambridge, including Cambridge North Station, Cambridge Biomedical Campus, Addenbrooke’s, Trumpington, and Park & Ride sites.
- Tiger 4: Links Newmarket to Addenbrooke’s via Fulbourn and Bottisham.
- Tiger 1: Express service between Huntingdon and Cambridge via Histon and Oakington.
These routes make it easier for students to reach CAST and surrounding facilities. Full timetables are available at Tiger Bus Routes. [bassingbou...cil.gov.uk], [cambridges...-ca.gov.uk]

Car
We encourage students to use public transport or methods of environmentally friendly transport wherever possible. Although the College has a car park, parking permits are only issued to students who have a disability or medical condition. These will need be authorised by the Principal and depend upon availability.
Addenbrookes Access Road
Please note that the road has been built for access only and, thus, through traffic from the Access Road to Long Road and Babraham Road through Addenbrooke’s Hospital site is not allowed. Automatic Number Plate Recognition cameras are in place and fines of £50 are issued to drivers using Addenbrookes Road as a shortcut between the M11 and Hills Road. The cameras are situated at the entry and exit points from the Cambridge Biomedical Campus which will record the time it takes for a vehicle to enter and exit the campus identifying drivers using the road as a short cut to the City Centre and not to access the hospital, this will include those dropping off/picking up students.
The college day commences at 08.30 each morning and finishes at 16.30. This provides a level of challenge in such a congested city as Cambridge, so we work closely with our students to plan routes into the college.
